The 2nd IAHR International Workshop on Scour around Hydraulic and Coastal Structures (IAHR-SHCS)
- About IAHR-SHCS - ________________________________________ The 2nd IAHR International Workshop on Scour around Hydraulic and Coastal Structures (IAHR-SHCS), hosted by the State Key Laboratory of Hydraulics and Mountain River Engineering of Sichuan University, will be held in Chengdu, China, on May 20-23rd. This workshop was initiated by a group of international scour researchers in 2023, aiming to provide an international platform for researchers to present and discuss recent advances and future challenges on "Scour around Hydraulic and Coastal Structures”. The first IAHR International Workshop on Scour around Hydraulic and Coastal Structures (IAHR-SHCS) was held in Nanjing, China, on Sept. 4-6, 2023. More than 100 participants attending the workshop from 40 universities or research institutes around the world. The attendees are from 8 countries including New Zealand, Australia, The U. S. A, Turkey, Denmark, Singapore, Italy. Almost all scour-related researchers from Chinese mainland have participated. - Main Topics - The 2nd IAHR International Workshop on Scour around Hydraulic and Coastal Structures (IAHR-SHCS), hosted by Sichuan University and The University of Auckland, will be held during May. 21-23th, 2024 in City Campus of Sichuan University, Chengdu, China.
